Tyler Thorkildsen

Tyler graduated from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2017. Over the years he has worked at several animal non-profits in both wildlife and shelter settings as well as volunteering with local spay/neuter programs and helping manage some of Toronto’s feral cat colonies.

During his time at the shelter, Tyler developed a strong interest in working with cats with complicated medical and behavioural needs. He uses these skills and strives towards creating  minimal stress environments for our very anxious cats in the clinic.

In his personal life, Tyler enjoys cooking, gardening, playing music, and catering to the every whim of his approximately three cats.
